Sarah is a pioneering trailblazer amongst female filmmakers in Pakistan. Her films focus on social justice and youth empowerment, showcasing underrepresented voices in Pakistan and beyond.

In 2014, Tareen's feature film was successfully showcased in cinemas nationwide. She has worked with notable international broadcasters and organizations, including Channel 4, The Norwegian Film Institute, and Creative Europe.

Her upcoming documentary, Kids Fight, is a co-production with VICE Media. The film delves into the intersection of youth, social mobility, and combat sports, positioning it as a compelling exploration of resilience and empowerment.

Tareen's work has garnered numerous accolades from prestigious award bodies such as ADC, Cannes Lions, Caples, Clios, D&AD, Dubai Lynx, Effies, LIA (London International Awards), Spikes Asia, and The One Show.
