Sarah Tareen is an award-winning filmmaker and director whose work explores identity, youth, resilience and belonging. Her latest documentary, Kids Fight, was released by VICE. Her credits also include Channel 4’s City of Fear and the Amanda Award-winning Drone.

Her social-impact work has been awarded at Cannes Lions, D&AD and the London International Awards, while her documentary work has received support from the Norwegian Film Institute and Creative Europe. She is co-founder of UK-based Kids Fight Productions, developing character-led film and television.

In her TEDx talk, The Female Voice, she explored how storytelling can create space for women, children and overlooked communities to be heard.
